In 2013, the University of Southern California (USC) made a significant move by appointing Andy Enfield as its head basketball coach. He took over from Bob Cantu, who had been serving as an interim coach during the 2012-13 season after USC fired Kevin O’Neill. Currently, Coach Enfield still stands as the head coach for the USC Trojans.
At the beginning of his career at USC, he faced his fair share of challenges. However, in his fourth season there, he took the Trojans to an impressive 14–0 start, marking his 100th coaching win. Under his guidance, USC won 182 games throughout eight seasons. He helped the Trojans have the third-highest number of wins in the Pac-12 and tie for the 14th-highest number of wins in the entire nation among power conferences – making him one of the most respected coaches in the league.
Notably, before Enfield became a remarkable coach, he was a remarkable player too.
