On October 8, Kristen Saban uploaded a short reel on Instagram featuring her mother Miss Terry sitting in between Nick Saban and Pat McAfee behind the desk during an ESPN College GameDay appearance. Miss Terry, who sat with a stoic expression, suddenly lighted up and got distracted when she spotted her daughter on the side. In the caption, Kristen wrote like a typical daughter — “ESPN:Please don’t distract the talent.” Me: MAHHHHM.”

It’s a girls thing! Kristen Saban was ready to break some rules to show her support to Miss Terry who made an appearance on Nick Saban’s new platform the previous week at Alabama vs. Georgia game. As we usually hear it around, Nick Saban’s wife is a legend in the making herself. She even made some predictions that put her above the GOAT coach’s bragging rights. She even became the fans’ GOAT after making accurate predictions going 7-2 and beating her husband’s score of 6-3. Even Nick Saban acknowledged her superiority saying, “I’ve been hearing this all over the country. There’s no place that I can go that I don’t hear about Miss Terry beating me.” Still, Saban also got the attention from Kristen Saban and his grandson last week.

Kristen Saban and son watches Nick Saban from TV

After showering her attention to her mother in the previous week, Kristen Saban and her young son James put Nick Saban in the spotlight last Saturday as they watched him on GameDay from home. She’s already honing her son’s respect for the GOAT father and grandfather as she captioned, “On Saturdays, we watch PaPaw 🏈

Nick Saban may still be employed by ESPN but it gave him more time to spend on his family and passion for golf than when he was Alabama’s head coach. Of all people, Kristen Saban was among the most impacted people by his retirement. She told WVTM13 about how her father’s retirement changed things, “I get him on the phone this time; before, when he was in the office, I would be lucky if I would get him. He said we got to go play golf, and I am making some new friends down here.” Nick Saban’s influence extends everywhere from family to football as the GOAT coach continues to inspire thousands.
