Shilo Sanders has always joked that Deion Sanders neglected him. And as a matter of fact, even Coach Prime sometimes tends to do a little unfair business with Shilo. Like when Coach Prime used Shilo Sanders’ trust fund to build a little playground for his grandson Snow. Yeah, that one cut deep. Especially when you are no longer a part of the NFL. There was even a viral clip of him half-joking, half-confessing that he had “no money” after his release. But with all this going on, Shilo is not the one to let go of his luxury lifestyle.

Shilo released a recent blog on his YouTube channel where he gives a tour of some of the properties he is trying to buy in Miami, FL, as he plans to move there. And so there is this one property that he really fancied. It’s a 5-bedroom apartment with a massive space and marvelous views. But a property like that must have a huge price tag. Now this is where the fun part starts. “I mean, if you want to buy it. It’s listed for $5 million,” Ryan, the realtor, said. Shilo quickly turned on his wit and satire after hearing about that money.

He asked the realtor, “Do you watch football?” Next question: “How often do you watch football?” Now Ryan was pretty fast with his answer, saying he watches football every Sunday, but he never saw Shilo playing. Now that’s when Ryan tried to sugarcoat the sale by saying, “You know, I tell them you’re Deion Sanders’ son. They’re like, ‘Sh-t, I’ll give it to you for free.'” That’s when Shilo came clean with the real issue. He asks the realtor, “You know what a trust fund is?” Upon getting the positive answer, he quickly fired up, saying, “I ain’t get that!”

At that moment, the property seemed to slip away from Shilo, but can you blame him? Shilo’s joke about not having a trust fund reflects the problems he is facing during this period. His journey hasn’t been without bumps. He went undrafted and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Everything went fine until the team cut him after he got ejected in the preseason for punching a Buffalo player.

Let Tony do the scouting, you just make the pick.

But instead of sulking, Shilo’s flipping the script. He is not looking to enter any more of the NFL rosters as he is trying to find his way through content creation. Plus, Shilo is very well aware of his talents. “Mentally, I’m good,” Shilo shared. “I have a lot of talents… music, acting, modeling. I’m well-versed, and my parents made sure of that.” And as a matter of fact, Daddy Prime never lost his faith in Shilo. “He’s my son,” Deion commented after Shilo’s release. And I’m proud of my kids, all of them, and I’ve prepared my kids for any and everything that could possibly happen in life and in sports.”

As of now, the $5M condo might look a little out of Shilo’s budget. But then he can still opt for the $25000 per month contract.

Shilo Sanders and his never-ending antics

Shilo Sanders is given the unauthorized task of turning every serious situation into comedy gold. He did the same thing before Coach Prime underwent surgery. Now, Coach Prime has faced his share of medical processes that have already cost him two toes. During this battle, Deion wanted to talk with all his children before he went into surgery. But as he called Shilo, the response was pretty different from the middle child.

Shilo looked him dead in the eye and said, “If you give me $5 million, I’ll make sure you don’t have to get surgery”. Deion, ever the showman himself, played along, questioning what five million would buy him. Without hesitation, Shilo shot back, “I’ll make sure you have the best care.” He didn’t stop there with his antics; he took it up a notch with a tagline saying, “If you give me five, I’ll make sure you’re alive.”

The entire room erupted in laughter, including Deion. For Shilo, humor seems to be both his defense mechanism and his weapon of choice. The moment with Shilo, caught on Well Off Media, showed the softer, human side of Coach Prime. But it may be a possibility that Shilo had the idea that the same figure he needed to buy a house. Coincidence? Maybe or maybe not. However, even without the money, he was successful in scoring a smile during his dad’s toughest times.
