Cupid’s arrows don’t check ID cards, and no one exemplifies this better than Bill Belichick and his beau, Jordon Hudson. The former New England Patriots Head Coach, 72, and his girlfriend, 24, share a 48-year age gap between them. The romance has raised many eyebrows in the past and continues to do so, but it doesn’t seem to break their spirits. Now, they were spotted peddling in love together on the Independence Day.

Imagine celebrating the 4th of July without any fireworks. Dull, right? Not at least for Bill and Jordon, who enjoyed a quieter celebration in Nantucket, riding bicycles. In the exclusive photographs published by the Daily Mail, the couple appeared with similar rings on their index fingers. Tired from cycling under the sun, they were also captured, taking a leisurely rest in the shade.

The snaps from the Daily Mail also show that the couple cycled to the Sankaty Lighthouse before Hudson made Bill pout and pose for some selfies. Something we didn’t see him do during his time as the head coach.

They kept it casual for the occasion as Belichick looked suitably comfortable in a baseball cap, blue T-shirt, and white shorts, while Hudson sported a red long-sleeved off shoulder top, along with white jeans and sneakers.

However, this isn’t the first time they’ve been spotted wandering the streets of this Massachusetts island.

Back in June — the same month their romance made headlines — Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson were seen leaving a private members’ club together in Nantucket. The island must be a haven for them, especially since the 72-year-old reportedly owns multiple homes there.

Bill has been living to the fullest since he said his goodbyes to the football coaching scene in January. And why shouldn’t he? His exit follows 24 successful seasons, with the Patriots leading them to six Super Bowl victories — the most by any NFL coach. Now, he deserves to chug his beers and party. All, while, romancing his newly found love. Well, you can argue that he might be finding his youth in his young partner.

But that’s not it. Belichick was also present to honor legendary Patriots QB Tom Brady who was inducted into the team’s Hall of Fame in June. You will never be able to take the Patriots out of the old guy.
