Week 11 of the NFL season is upon us, which means it’s time to set your fantasy football lineups for the week. Fortunately, this bye week is much less devastating than last week, especially at the wide receiver position. Still, there are important decisions to be made, and I’m here to help you with that.

As the playoffs draw nearer, it’s important that you’re maximizing your lineup every week. So to help you with that, I’ve ranked the top 20 wide receivers for Week 11 of the NFL season based on their matchups and how well I think they’ll perform.

20. Brian Thomas Jr.

Matchup: Los Angeles Chargers

Brian Thomas Jr. looks on track to return to the field this weekend after missing Week 10 with an injury. Jacksonville put 29 points on the board, but their offense still looked sluggish. They scored just two offensive touchdowns and only had 158 passing yards. They desperately missed their WR1, even if he hasn’t been as consistent as last year. I expect them to throw Thomas’ way early and often on Sunday, and if they want to have success, he’s going to need to have a big game.

Projection: 13.8 points

19. Tee Higgins

Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers

Tee Higgins has either scored 11 points or 20+ in every game with Joe Flacco under center. It’s impossible to predict where he’ll land in Week 11, but what we do know is he faces one of the worst pass defenses in the league. There’s no reason Cincy shouldn’t have success through the air, and Higgins should be a big part of their offensive production.

Projection: 14.1 points

18. Rome Odunze

Matchup: Minnesota Vikings

Rome Odunze is the most hit-or-miss fantasy receiver in football right now. He’s either scored 18+ or fewer than six in each of his last five games. He’s still the No. 1 WR in Chicago, but he inexplicably disappears at times. I don’t see that being the case this weekend. The Bears’ offense is much better when Odunze is playing well, so I expect them to feed him early and often. Look for Odunze to re-solidify himself as a reliable WR option in fantasy this week.

Projection: 14.4 points

17. DeVonta Smith

Matchup: Detroit Lions

The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense struggled on Monday night, but it felt a bit weird. Even though I’m notoriously tough on Jalen Hurts, he’s been playing well recently, and his two receivers have been the main beneficiaries. I like Detroit’s defense, but they’re still pretty beat up in the secondary, so I think DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown should have decent games.

Projection: 14.6 points

16. DK Metcalf

Matchup: Cincinnati Bengals

DK Metcalf has really struggled in recent weeks, but he has a fantastic matchup this week against the Cincinnati Bengals. They have one of the worst pass defenses in football, and as the clear-cut WR1, there’s no reason Metcalf shouldn’t have a 15+ point outing, unless Pittsburgh has actually fallen off a cliff.

Projection: 14.7 points

15. Stefon Diggs

Matchup: New York Jets

Stefon Diggs has now scored double-digit points in four consecutive games, and I don’t expect that streak to end this week. New England faces the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football, and while primetime games have been a bit sloppy recently, I don’t expect the Patriots’ offense to struggle against a Jets defense that traded away Sauce Gardner.

Projection: 14.9 points

14. Emeka Egbuka

Matchup: Buffalo Bills

Emeka Egbuka is back in form. After a few bad games, Egbuka went off for 23.5 points on Sunday. He was targeted 13 times, and with Chris Godwin and Mike Evans both missing this game, Egbuka will be the WR1 once again. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has another 10+ target game while Tampa tries to keep up with Josh Allen.

Projection: 15.1 points

13. AJ Brown

Matchup: Detroit Lions

We just talked about some of the injuries the Lions have suffered in their secondary, which should open things up for Brown a bit. Again, I don’t expect a repeat performance of Monday night from Philly’s offense. Detroit has a solid defense, but this should be a fairly high-scoring game, and Brown should be a bit part of the Eagles’ game plan offensively.

Projection: 15.2 points

12. Justin Jefferson

Matchup: Chicago Bears

Last week I talked a lot about how Justin Jefferson has performed well when J.J. McCarthy is under center, and then what does he do? He puts up 9.20 points. He was still targeted 12 times, though, which is a great sign for his fantasy production. If he can turn just a few more of those targets into catches, he could be a top 10 WR this week.

Projection: 15.6 points

11. Ladd McConkey

article-image

Matchup: Jacksonville Jaguars

Ladd McConkey’s run of great form continues after a 20-point outing against the Steelers on Sunday night. He and Justin Herbert have one of the best QB-WR connections in the sport right now, and there’s no reason that should change against a mid Jacksonville defense. Expect McConkey to get a ton of work again this week.

Projection: 15.8 points

10. Nico Collins

Matchup: Tennessee Titans

Nico Collins was Davis Mills’ favorite target last week, and while C.J. Stroud should return this week, that shouldn’t change Collins’ fantasy outlook too much. The Tennessee Titans have one of the worst defenses in football, so even though Houston has struggled offensively, they should be able to put a lot of points on the board this week.

Projection: 16.0 points

9. Rashee Rice

Matchup: Denver Broncos

Rashee Rice has been excellent ever since he returned from his six-game suspension. He’s averaging over 20 fantasy points per game, but this week he faces a very tough matchup against the Denver Broncos. I don’t quite expect him to hit the 20-point mark again, but he should be in the high-teens.

Projection: 16.4 points

8. Drake London

article-image

Matchup: Carolina Panthers

Drake London has been a fantasy beast in recent weeks. He’s scored 24+ points in three of his last four games, and now faces a Carolina Panthers team that isn’t all that good. I still don’t fully trust Atlanta’s offense, but London has proven that he can perform no matter how bad their offense plays overall.

Projection: 16.7 points

7. Jaylen Waddle

Matchup: Washington Commanders

Jaylen Waddle is reaching his full potential in Miami with Tyreek Hill out. He’s scored 14+ in five of his last six games, including 20+ three times. Even when Miami struggles to score, Waddle’s getting a ton of yards to make up for the lack of touchdowns. Now, he gets a Washington defense that gives up the third-most points to opposing wideouts. Should have another big game in him this week.

Projection: 17.0 points

6. Amon-Ra St. Brown

Matchup: Philadelphia Eagles

Amon-Ra St. Brown is yet to score less than 10 points in a game this year. He’s been a double-digit machine and is coming off a great 17-point outing. I expect this game to have a decent amount of scoring, and St. Brown should be the featured receiver in the Lions’ offense. There’s no doubt in my mind that he doesn’t score at least 15 this week.

Projection: 17.1 points

5. Davante Adams

article-image

Imago

Matchup: Seattle Seahawks

Davante Adams has been a nightmare for opposing defenses in the red zone. He’s scored six touchdowns in his last three games and has finished as the WR12 or better in each of those weeks. I know he faces a tough defense, but the Los Angeles Rams have the best offense in football right now. He should haul in at least one touchdown this week and see a good amount of targets.

Projection: 17.3 points

4. CeeDee Lamb

Matchup: Las Vegas Raiders

Since returning from injury, CeeDee Lamb has scored 14+ points every single week. He’s been unguardable, and now faces a very easy challenge against the Las Vegas Raiders, who have one of the worst defenses in the league. They give up 37.0 fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts, so he should feast this week.

Projection: 17.5 points

3. Ja’Marr Chase

Matchup: Pittsburgh Steelers

Ja’Marr Chase has scored at least 17 points in every game with Joe Flacco under center. We already talked about how bad the Bengals’ pass defense is, so if Flacco keeps targeting Chase 10+ times a game, he should easily put up 17+ points again this week.

Projection: 18.0 points

2. Puka Nacua

article-image

Imago

Matchup: Seattle Seahawks

These top three guys are going to be the top three pretty much every week. Puka Nacua is having a tremendous season, and if it weren’t for an injury, he would be one of the favorites for the Offensive Player of the Year award. He has a tough matchup this weekend, but he’s proven to be matchup-proof. No matter who he’s facing, he’s going to produce, and in this massive game between the two NFC favorites, he should go off.

Projection: 18.9 points

1. Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Matchup: Los Angeles Rams

Finally, Jaxon Smith-Njigba tops our list once again. He has scored 20+ in each of his last five games and has shown no signs of slowing down. The Rams’ defense poses a tough challenge, but like Nacua, he’s proven to be matchup-proof. I don’t see a world where LA contains him and keeps him under 100 yards in a game of this magnitude.

Projection: 20.5 points
