The 23-year-old rookie has pivoted to content creation. He officially launched his own YouTube channel, @Sk4ttP4ck, which has garnered some traction. Leo Skattebo III, the father of the rookie RB, was the one who took to social media to promote his son’s brand new YouTube channel. Skattebo revealed that this YouTube channel will mainly feature some long-form content and also short comedic skits.

The rookie most likely has been planning to have his own YouTube channel for a while now, as he created the channel in January of this year. Fast forward 11 months and he has finally begun to post content. His first YouTube shorts video has gone viral on multiple social media platforms. The shorts clip was one unique question that set the internet on fire. He wanted to know what the right way of eating a taco.

“Do you like, turn your head to eat a taco, or do you turn the taco for you? Like, are you dominant to the taco, or does the taco, like, do you turn your head for the taco?” Skattebo questioned the viewers before declaring his position. “It’s about the dominance of the taco, though, like if you’re not, if you’re turning the taco, you’re dominating the taco.”

The clip was cut from one of his latest live stream sessions on Twitch. Currently, Skattebo is injured and thus he is testing his luck with content creation. But only time will tell if the Giants’ QB is looking to permanently become a YouTuber. It all depends on whether and when he will be medically cleared to play for the Giants once again.

The 23-year-old played a total of 8 games this season. He has secured 410 rushing yards, 101 carries, and 5 touchdowns. He also has 207 receiving yards. It was shaping up to be an impressive rookie campaign until the heartbreaking moment on October 26th. While being tackled in the second quarter, his ankle bent at a sickening angle. The Giants’ medical staff immediately placed him in an air cast before he was taken off the field.

Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle with associated fractures and ligament damage. This wasn’t a tweak; it was an extensive trauma that required immediate surgical repair. He underwent the surgery immediately after the week 8 game. The procedure was critical to stabilize the joint and begin the healing process, but it abruptly ended his season. With Skattebo being the team’s explosive bright spot, the immediate, lingering question is, When can we see him back in a Giants uniform?

Giants coach Brian Daboll has been cautious, acknowledging that the former Arizona State star has a long road ahead of him. Experts, like Dr. Gonzalez-Lomas, who spoke to The Post, believe there’s a good chance Skattebo could be ready for July 2026. Do you think the 23-year-old rookie will be ready for the next season?
