Despite posting a career-low 6.9 yards per attempt with 326 passes last year before hitting the injury phase, Jackson remained among the fan favorites. However, this year, he has raised the bar higher than ever! The Ravens are sitting on the top of the AFC North with a 7-2 record, and the quarterback has just three things to say about it all.

During a recent press conference, the Ravens’ quarterback Lamar Jackson was asked about his views on his stats and the percentage growth from last year to this season. At first, Jackson smiled and shied away from answering. However, he soon revealed that he didn’t actually care about the numbers. The 26-year-old QB said, “I don’t have an answer. Just hard work, dedication, going out there just competing my tail off that’s all!”

He continued sidelining the importance of personal numbers, stating, “To be honest with you….I’m not just going to go and look and see what I did. I’m trying to win. I don’t really care about the stats this year.” Jackson, in his nine games this season, has a percentage of 71.5, which is more than his last year’s total percentage of 62.3.
