Aaron Glenn‘s fiery personality is no secret, and he’s never even sugarcoated it. Known for keeping it real and calling out what he sees as “unnecessary drama”, Glenn has his fair share of tense media moments. Earlier this year, things became awkward between the Jets beat writer Brian Costello. After that, he got snappy with ESPN’s Rich Cimini. But now the Glenn-Cimini saga has just flared up again.

“Aaron Glenn is declining to give any injury updates because he said that we can just ask Rich Cimini,” as reported by The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt.
According to reports, Glenn has even accused Cimini was saying things he didn’t even say. Glenn’s Tuesday press conference made it pretty clear that he’s not happy with Cimini. He opened by saying, “I’m going to pass on talking about injuries.” He then threw a little jab at the media, pointing them towards Cimini, saying, “Rich has all the answers.”

Cimini had reported on Monday that Wilson would be missing multiple weeks after re-injuring his knee on Sunday’s win over the
Cleveland Browns.Garrett Wilson’s injury might come in the way of achieving a big milestone
After missing weeks 7 and 8 because of a hyperextended knee he sustained against the Broncos, this was the second time in the season that he got his knee injured. The injury led to his early departure from the game on Sunday. Wilson’s absences will have a big impact on the Jets‘ passing game since he has become their main offensive weapon. His 1,000 receiving yards streak in consecutive seasons is now at risk because of the games he will be missing. But there’s good news for the fans.
As per reports, he is expected to miss 3 to 4 weeks while recovering. If everything goes well, he could return around Week 14 (December 7) against the Miami Dolphins or Week 15 (December 14) against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Head coach Aaron Glenn has said earlier that the team is still checking Wilson’s knee with more imaging tests.
So far this season, in seven games, Wilson has 36 carries for 395 yards, averaging 11.0 yards per carry. He has also scored 4 touchdowns, which is his second-best career total after last year, when he had 7 touchdowns. The Jets will have to find other ways to fill the gap in their passing attack while Wilson recovers from his knee sprain.
