The Green Bay Packers HC Matt LaFleur needs to explain how their team has fallen on the scoreboard. After losing the week 10 game to the Philadelphia Eagles, they have slipped to 3rd place in the NFC North division. They remain in the playoff standings based on their winning percentage. But as per the head coach, their offense needs some action after scoring only three points in each of their last two losses.

“You score seven points in this league, you’re probably not gonna win many games,” LaFleur highlighted what went wrong in the game. “Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no moral victories in our sport. If you hold good football teams to 10 points, you should win the football game in my opinion.”

The Packers’ defense did everything possible to win this game. They shut down QB Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ offense for most of the night. The defense didn’t allow a single point until halfway through the third quarter. Even that first touchdown didn’t come until the early minutes of the fourth. On paper, the Eagles should’ve run away with it. The defense made sure that didn’t happen.

However, the offense was a different story. Green Bay didn’t score for the first 54 minutes of the game. Drives kept stalling, passes fell short, and the run game never found space. When RB Josh Jacobs finally broke through for a 6-yard touchdown run late in the fourth, the clock had already become their enemy. Quarterback Jordan Love didn’t throw an interception but still made a key mistake.

His second-quarter fumble killed one of the team’s best chances to score early. LaFleur later said that Love was just trying to make a play but ended up forcing it in a tough moment. It wasn’t about effort; it was about timing and control. The coach admitted the offense has been out of rhythm for a few weeks now and needs to settle down fast.

Love completed 20 of 36 passes for 176 yards, took three sacks, and didn’t have much help around him. The Packers were without WR Jayden Reed, TE Tucker Kraft, and rookie WR Matthew Golden. Receiver Romeo Doubs left mid-game with an injury. That left Dontayvion Wicks and Bo Melton, who combined for just 6 catches on 13 targets. Meanwhile, the defense continued to shine. DE Micah Parsons’ arrival has turned that unit into a top-five group.

They held the Panthers to 16 last week and limited the Eagles to 10. You can’t ask for much more than that. But when the offense can’t move the ball or finish drives, none of it matters. In the end, Hurts’ 36-yard pass to WR DeVonta Smith and a strong stand from the Eagles’ defense closed it out.

The Packers’ defense deserved better. They fought hard all night. But once again, the offense didn’t hold up its end, and that’s becoming a pattern. Now, fans want the management to find a new coach.

Matt LaFleur is on the hot seat

Lafluer can head for the exit door far as I’m concerned,” one fan wrote in the comments section of the Packers’ official YouTube channel.

They demanded to sign a new coach. Another person, also named Jon Gruden (similar to the former Raiders’ coach) commented, “Man, I would wake up a happy man if I found out that John Gruden was the new HC.”

Some even wanted them to part ways with the kicker Brandon McManus, who missed the field goal at their home ground.

One mentioned, “Matt and McManus gotta go.”

However, some Cheeseheads were very angry. Matt LaFleur and his players lost 2 home games with only 3-point scores. They noted, “Your fired!!!! Loser.”

This Clown has gotta go!” The 5-word message was enough to explain the sad feelings in the Packers fandom.

Hence, the pressure is building now.
