Despite the usual rehabilitation period, Rodgers was resolute in pushing the boundaries of his recovery, hoping to rejoin the Jets if they found themselves in contention for the playoffs. However, the team couldn’t make it to the playoffs this time around. But Rodgers and fans, both appear to have high hopes for the 2024 NFL season.

Aaron Rodgers took some time out for his fans on the second day of the year 2024. He posted an Instagram Story, where he shared a philosophical message. The message consisted of a quote from the famous 13th-century poet, Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmī, simply recalled as ‘Rumi’. On several occasions, he has also been described as the most popular poet.

The message read, “Life is a balance between holding on and letting go…” This hits home after looking at the incomplete run of Rodgers this season, and even the Jets left unfortunately handicapped after his injury without their experienced QB. But as it turns out, Rodgers might be getting ready to make a return on the field with a bang next season. Above the message from the quote, he wrote, “Happy New Year.”

This gave hope to the fans about the upcoming year and season. Moreover, the 2024 season holds a lot of opportunities for the QB, as he could potentially enlist himself among the elite quarterbacks’ list . The expectations would be looming on his shoulders to bring forth a positive performance for the Jets next year after a disappointing 2023 season.

This offseason, the spotlight is on Aaron Rodgers as he approaches a significant milestone in his career. Just 25 touchdowns away from joining the exclusive 500 club, Rodgers is poised to become the 5th quarterback in NFL history to achieve this feat. He will then join the ranks of Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, and Brett Favre.

Given Rodgers’ consistent performance of surpassing 25 touchdowns in every season where he played more than 9 games, it’s a reasonable expectation that he’ll reach this milestone.
