Russell Wilson has been one of the most committed quarterbacks in the NFL this season. Though the Denver Broncos started the season poorly, under the leadership of legendary HC Sean Payton, they made a U-turn. But with the recent loss against the New England Patriots and the playoff hopes down the drain, is QB Wilson considering his future with the Denver team?
Wilson turned 35 this year and doesn’t have much football left in him, though his skills are as precise as they ever were. After the heartbreaking loss, which has made his path to another postseason extremely tough, Wilson outlined his plans in front of the media.

The Super Bowl winner with the Seattle Seahawks joined the Broncos in 2022 in search of more success. However, both the seasons haven’t gone according to plans. But Wilson reassures the Broncos fans by saying, “I came here to win and win a championship for us. And find a way to do that… I obviously love being here with these guys and these teammates. And I’m excited to keep playing ball and uh you know and playing hard for us”.

“I’m just worried about next week”, said the number 3 for the Broncos. Though he agreed that he hasn’t done the math, whether a win next week will bring them closer to playoffs. Despite losing, they haven’t yet been eliminated from the contention and math is pretty simple for them to snatch a playoff berth.

The chances for the Broncos
Mathematically speaking, they have only one thing to do, to win out the rest of their games. Placed 11th in the AFC, they have a mere 5% chance of getting through. And their head-to-head advantage over the Buffalo Bills would favor them, but not if the Houston Texans clinch that spot.

There is one more method by which they can get to the playoffs. Their divisional rivals the Kansas City Chiefs lose their remaining three games, while the Broncos win their two.
