Travis Kelce Shuts Down Patrick Mahomes ‘Modest’ Retort to Keeping up With the Kelce’s Partying Habits

It is no surprise that the Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce has been known to be somewhat of a party animal. While his brother, former Eagles star, Jason Kelce has occasionally accompanied his younger sibling during his party sessions, so has the NFL’s beloved quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. However, recently, in an interview on Logan Paul’s podcast, IMPAULSIVE, he claimed that he could no longer cut it up like he used to with the duo.
In today’s episode of the New Heights podcast, the 34-year-old shut down his teammate’s claims. Kelce stated “Pat responded, no, I cannot keep up with the Kelce brothers. I used to, I think. And then I had kids, which I’m calling bullshit.”
The tight end defended his stance by continuing, “Packy, he knows he can’t, he’s playing court right now. Everybody knows, especially if it’s Coors light, nobody’s keeping up with Pat.”

After dismissing the quarterback’s modest claims, Kelce recounted that the 28-year-old had “literally” drunk bars out of Coors. He also added that there were times when the team had thought they had enough. However, Mahomes wound up proving them wrong “twice.” Although he may no longer be on par with his friends, it looks like he has managed to compete in a league of his own with beer.
However, with the 28-year-old leaving his partying days behind, fans might wind up missing some rather memorable moments with the star like last year’s Super Bowl afters.
When a drunk Patrick Mahomes made a fan’s dream come true
Earlier this year, when the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes went all out with their victory celebrations. While the tight end and Taylor Swift may have taken over headlines with their partying, the quarterback stole the show. During the parade in KC, the 28-year-old wound up so drunk that he accidentally gave a fan the Lombardi trophy.

It was a moment that left everyone speechless. However, it was not the only time that Mahomes wound up stealing the spotlight. During the celebrations, he could be seen wearing a custom WWE belt and ski goggles to complete his outlandish outfit. The father of two could also be seen chugging beers like his life depended on it. After all, he had just led his team to Super Bowl victory once again.

Although Mahomes cutting down his liquor intake could rid fans of hilarious moments like this, there is no doubt that Travis and Jason Kelce can help make up for that. After all, the former Eagles star had managed to break the Taylor Swift effect in Los Angeles when he dressed head-to-toe as a wrestler to celebrate his brother’s big win.
With Kelce officially retired, fans may get to witness more insane antics like the athlete going bare-chested at Travis’ game last year. In fact, he has even kept up his NFL rivalry in the most hilarious way.
