Shannon Sharpe, on his talk show “Club Shay Shay”, interviewed the Rockstar rapper DaBaby. He got involved in some serious questions with the 2020 BET Awards winner. It was an interesting conversation as Shannon came prepared with different types of questions. The rapper too answered questions with great tenacity.

During the conversation, the former “Undisputed” talk-show host asked the rapper about losing significant amounts of money. He name-dropped another successful rapper of this generation- Ye ‘Kanye’ West while thoughts on monetary matters. It was the practical insights offered to DaBaby by other yesteryear rappers regarding the same.

Shannon Sharpe asks DaBaby about Kanye’s financial losses

Sharpe discussed life and everything in between with his recent guest. Speaking to the rapper, he touched on how the rapper incurs losses and whom he goes to for help regarding financial issues. He also quoted Kanye West saying- “You going through, what you going through. Kanye West brought you out. Him too that’s another one lost 30m. Just like that, quick Kanye lost a billion!” The NFL HOF carefully placed his question asking how DaBaby approaches other rappers as per the monetary aspect and losses are concerned.

DaBaby who seems to gell well with other rappers, replied that he seeks their advice. He narrated how with 50 Cent, he gave strategic and controlled advice based on the intellect. DaBaby in his short career has also learned from the likes of another rapper Kanye West. However, the “Donda” rapper’s version of losses was completely different.

DaBaby’s assessment of Ye’s losses

The rapper admitted that in all the stories he has heard about rappers losing money, each has their own story. He also narrated that when it comes to offering monetary advice to Kanye, even the rapper admitted it was “more like a war.” The rapper earlier this year fell off Forbes’ billionaires list after he lost several music and endorsement deals worth roughly $1.6 billion of his net worth due to some antisemitic comments.
