Talking about the experience on ABC’s Good Morning America, he was open about his nervousness: “It’s a lot of fun, and I was really surprised. Alongside Strahan, the panel includes home lifestyle moguls Chip and Joanna Gaines, tech entrepreneur Alexis Ohanian, fashion icon Kendra Scott, and Allison Ellsworth. The veteran Sharks, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner, and Barbara Corcoran, will still keep the heat on. This star-studded lineup means Season 17 promises new energy and a fresh perspective. And the trailer of the season guarantees nothing else.
“Seventeen years ago, Shark Tank started a revolution of ideas,” the narrator says right off the bat. Then you get hit with a wild mix of pitches. Think: turning lights on from across the room with a finger or a whole building that drops underground to escape wildfires. The trailer drops the biggie: “The life-changing series returns for a new era.” Translation? Mark Cuban’s out, focusing on family now. With new sharks like Michael Strahan stepping in, the tank’s ready for fresh energy, tougher battles, and deals. But while prepping for his debut on Tank, Strahan also surprised fans by confirming his participation in the Ryder Cup celebrity event at Bethpage Black.
