Michael Strahan took to Instagram stories, sharing, “Tune in on December 25th for the #BlackComedyInAmerica Christmas Day marathon only on Vice TV!” This marathon is more than just a few laughs. It’s a journey through the colorful and powerful history of Black comedy. And all about showcasing how it has shaped American culture over the decades! The lineup? Packed with heavyweights like Shaquille O’Neal, Will Smith, Dave Chappelle, Kevin Hart, and Marlon Wayans! And you’d be able to dig into the stories behind the jokes, the struggles, and the triumphs of Black comedic pioneers.

Strahan’s enthusiasm is infectious as this docuseries promises entertaining and educational insights. With hosts Tiffany Haddish, Chris Spencer, and Ryan Davis? The series aims to provide a comprehensive look at the evolution and impact of Black comedy! And the lineup doesn’t shy away from the cultural milestones that define a generation. Think of Def Comedy Jam and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Feels like a nostalgic stroll down memory lane! 

As the series unfolds, viewers can expect to hear from the legends who’ve paved the way, including The Original Kings of Comedy. Fred Anthony Smith from SMAC Productions puts it perfectly. “This docuseries will have you laughing from start to finish, but also learning the stories behind the careers of some of the most iconic comedians in Hollywood history.”
