America seems to be in the grip of Tom Brady fever. The TB12’s Hall of Fame speech has inspired fans and legends alike. After Arch Manning and Steve Sarkisian, it’s time for Robert Kraft to make a bold admission about the GOAT’s forte in motivating the next-gen. The Patriots owner applauded Brady for his on-field talents.

But after all these years, Kraft can’t help but praise one of Brady’s particular traits, i.e., teamwork. The franchise owner attributed this essential quality to something the country desperately needs. The NFL legend Emmanuel Acho walked on the same path to commend Brady, the motivator.

Kraft touched by Brady’s inspiring words

As Brady officially retired his No.12 jersey, he delivered a stirring speech about hard work. A part of it read, “No matter who you are there are bumps and hits and bruises along the way and my advice is to prepare yourself because football lessons teach us that success and achievement come from overcoming adversity and that team accomplishment far exceeds anyone’s individual goals.” Kraft immediately called attention to this feature that is now hard to find within American talent. “Tommy articulated it beautifully. If you want to win, it’s really a team sport. It’s not individual, and you better get along with all kinds of people of all backgrounds. We need more of that in America today,” Kraft further established his point.

Even though Acho never got lucky to be on the same team as Brady, it did not stop him from applauding the TB12. Sharing Brady’s video from June 12, the Giants veteran wrote, “Wow! Tom Brady may have just delivered the greatest quote I’ve ever heard.” Now that Kraft has pinpointed the GOAT being an ultimate team player, let’s take a trip down memory lane.

Brady, a legacy of selflessness

The team. The team. The team. Brady learned the mantra well during his time at the University of Michigan, and he made sure to apply it on the field as well, with help from his teammate-turned-best friend, Rob Gronkowski. During the Week 18 game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Carolina Panthers, Brady ensured that Gronkowski reached a $1 million incentive by helping him achieve the necessary stats. Gronkowski needed seven catches and 85 receiving yards to hit two separate bonuses of $500,000 each.

Although Gronkowski was one catch away from the final bonus, and the Tampa Bay team was prepared to pull their starters, Brady intervened. He was spotted retrieving his helmet and informing the coaching staff that he wasn’t leaving the game. Collaborating with Gronkowski, Brady helped him secure the full bonus with a short pass near the sideline.

On that day, Brady was instrumental in helping Gronkowski finish the game with seven receptions for 137 yards as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won 41-17, ensuring that Gronkowski went home with an extra $1 million in his pocket.
