A lot of college football talent entered the NFL in 2024 and they’re set to kick off their first season in the professional league with high expectations. And who else but Tom Brady would come forward to organize a beneficial meeting with the top players of the 2024 draft class? After all, he’s a legend who knows football like the back of his hand.

Tom Brady and Jay-Z organized an enlightening breakfast event with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin where they discussed sports and business. The group consisted of the top QBs of the 2024 class including Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy, and more. However, amidst the conversation, it is how Brady took a dig at the new batch of QBs along with Jay-Z humorously that caught everyone’s eye.

Tom Brady knows the amount of talent that he sat down with on Sunday morning in Los Angeles. After sharing his thoughts of wisdom with the QB talents before they kicked off their first NFL game, he uploaded a group photo on his IG story. In his post, the NFL GOAT snatched the opportunity to make a playful jab at the “Empire State of Mind” rapper along with the young QBs and captioned, “The world’s worst boy band hahahah. Even @JayZ can’t save us.” While he applauded the football skills of the players sitting alongside him, it seemed like the QB was not as sure about their music skills.

Tom Brady was more than excited to be part of this event as he stated, “I had a great morning with @fanatics @michaelrubin and some of the future players that will shape our great league. I’ll always cherish the opportunity to talk to these young men who are about to start a monumental chapter of their lives.” Perhaps this pep talk from the 7X SB champion himself would be inspiration enough for the rookie NFL players to deliver and walk in his path of greatness.

Caleb Williams joins Tom Brady’s breakfast event

Caleb Williams, who was the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears, also attended Tom Brady’s meeting where he was seen paying attention to the GOAT’s speech. Known for his leadership qualities, the 22-year-old said, “To be a great leader, you have to learn how to follow first. So right now I’m following all the vets, I’m following all the coaches, I’m listening – having both ears open and my mouth shut – just kind of sitting back listening.”

Michael Rubin, co-host of the event, also took to IG to write, “This was such an incredible opportunity for these rooks before they take their first snap. Big things ahead for this group – can’t wait to watch you all crush it on and off the field!” The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner secured 3,633 yards and 30 TDs for the USC Trojans in 2023. Perhaps, he along with the other players will pick up something from this event that’ll enable them to shine in the NFL.
