The meeting of football and baseball legends is creating a frenzy in the NFL fraternity. QB1 for the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes has already lodged his name in the list of NFL legends. The 28-year-old quarterback is already equipped with 2 Super Bowl titles and 2 MVP titles. And still, Mahomes has a long way to go. 

Former Baseball shortstop, Derek Jeter’s meeting with Mahomes, is the talk of the town. The baseball player turned businessman has five World Series championships to his name, and when two legends of the parallel sporting landscape meet, the enthusiasts going haywire is obvious.

The Chiefs’ official Instagram account shared a carousel of pictures highlighting the meeting. They shared about the upcoming interview ahead of their game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, which will feature both Mahomes and Jeter.

Sharing the post, the Chiefs’ account mentioned, “Nbd, just Derek Jeter stopping by to chat with QB1. Don’t miss this exclusive interview before our game on Sunday starting at 10 AM CT on NFLonFOX.” Both Mahomes and Jeter have numerous accolades to their name. Jeter retired with five titles, Mahomes has a long way to go in his NFL career and already won 2 titles.

Defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs started their season with a defeat. However, they found a revival in their second game. With all of their top-tier players in playable condition, the Chiefs are assembling to defend their title against the 31 formidable NFL teams.

The defending champions against the 31 teams

The Chiefs opened their season with a defeat against the Detroit Lions. In the first game, tight end Travis Kelce and defensive tackle Chris Jones’ absence turned out to be a loophole for the Chiefs. However, in the second game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, both their star players Jones and Kelce were available and the Chiefs found their first victory of the season. Now will all odds in their favor, the Chiefs are favorites to win their consecutive Super Bowl title.

With Mahomes in staggering form and the Chiefs’ camp in a vitalized energy, hopes are high for the Chiefs to put up promising gameplay throughout the season.
