2021 NFL Draft: Lead Analyst Provides Offensive Lineman – Wide Receiver Analysis

The 2021 NFL Draft class boasts some major talent. There are multiple players who deserved to go in the first round but might be available in the second due to the massive potential surrounding these youngsters. The quarterback department, in particular, involves names such as Trevor Lawrence (Clemson Tigers), Mac Jones (Alabama Crimson Tide Football team), Justin Fields (Ohio State), and Zach Wilson (BYU Cougars).
But there are numerous other options apart from these lads, in various positions. Each NFL team has its own set of requirements in the build-up to the 2021 NFL Draft. But ESPN expert Mike Greenberg has an important message that might affect how the draft pans out next month.

Speaking on the latest segment of Get Up, host Mike Greenberg had some words of invaluable advice for teams looking to draft a wide receiver or offensive lineman this summer.
“When faced with the choice between taking an elite receiver or an elite offensive lineman in an NFL Draft, NFL teams should take the lineman 100 out of 100 times and not look back. There are a number of reasons for that. The biggest offensive tackles always pan out in the NFL draft and wide receiver actually has the lowest hit rate of any position in the entire National Football League,” Greenberg said on the show.

One team who will be keeping a close eye on these comments is AFC North franchise, Cincinnati Bengals. They own the 5th overall pick at the upcoming NFL Draft later this month.
They are interested in potential moves for a strong wide receiver (De’Vonta Smith or Ja’Marr Chase) to support quarterback Joe Burrow. The latter played alongside Chase during his LSU days.
