The hype surrounding the nephew of Eli and Peyton Manning was unreal. As a five-star prospect in the 2023 class, Arch Manning swore his allegiance to the University of Texas in June. However, he spent months traveling over the country on official and unofficial visits. Football programs leave no pages to get a top-tier athlete in the build. That is what the University of Texas did.
According to The Athletic, the University spent $280,000 on a recruiting trip with Arch Manning and eight other prospects. They spent just under $47,000 on lodging expenditures and more than $95,000 on meals only. It also spent nearly $10,000 at TopGolf and $11,880 on a gathering for coaches and athletes that featured an open bar.

Fortunately, the procedure proved effective. Other prospects joined the Longhorns after Manning pledged. Derek Williams, a five-star defensive back, and three-star tight end Will Randle are among them. After this year, Arch Manning will become a freshman at Texas.
