Celebrations are a part and parcel of an NFL game. Be it wins, touchdowns, sacks, or even interceptions, NFL games are never short of occasions to celebrate. But there are some who celebrate somewhat uniquely. And sometimes, those unique celebrations might just end up with them suffering an injury. And a player who grabbed headlines for such a celebration is Carolina Panthers’ Baker Mayfield. After their win against the Atlanta Falcons in week 10, cameras caught Mayfield head-butting his teammates. And he wasn’t even wearing his helmet!

Apparently, this is not a first-time occurrence. While interacting with reporters after the game, a question popped up about the strange celebration. “I’ve always done that,Mayfield says. It just so happens that it got caught on camera. I’ve done that since college. I love this game and I love my teammates. We work together too hard not to enjoy it. Yeah, a good head butt every once in a while goes a long way.”

While Mayfield’s stats may not be very impressive, Lamar Jackson is having the time of his life. The Baltimore Ravens sit at the top of the AFC North and are on a three-game winning streak. More importantly, Jackson has shown to the NFL community that he is by far one of the best QBs in history. His rushing and passing prowess have established him as a dual-threat QB that very few defenses have been able to contain.

Fans are excited to see Baker Mayfield face off against Lamar Jackson one more time. The last time both the shot callers clashed, Mayfield was playing for Cleveland. The Ravens defeated the Browns in Week 12 of last season with a score of 16-10.

Now, Mayfield is with a different club. While the odds are heavily stacked against the Panthers, any true NFL fan will know that stats don’t necessarily translate to on-field performance. If they put their minds to it, the Panthers might just be able to snatch an upset victory. But it will be a steep hill to climb, and Jackson’s offense will be consistently at their heels. Will the Panthers have something up their sleeve against the Ravens? If they win, we might see Mayfield headbutt some more of his teammates.
