The Denver Broncos signed Russell Wilson this offseason as an answer to all their problems. But since the beginning of the 2022 season, their problems have actually compounded. Amidst a disastrous season, Wilson has admitted that tough times in Denver have hurt the Broncos’ campaign. But he is also excited to get back on the field after missing the last game for the franchise.
The Broncos signed Wilson in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks that included multiple future draft picks. But the veteran QB has struggled after moving out of Washington.

The Broncos are already out of the playoff contention after losing ten of their 14 games so far. The franchise injury reserve list is severely bloated with 20 players on it. And so many injuries have certainly impacted the game Wilson intended to play with the Broncos this season. He spoke about his season with his new team and said he has never been a part of such a wild season.
“It’s been a wild season. I’ve never been a part of a season this wild—a lot of injuries, a lot of things,” Wilson said. But he is already looking towards the future, especially the Christmas day clash with the reigning Super Bowl champions Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are the first Super Bowl champions since 2016 to not get to the playoffs next season. The previous one was, guess what, the Broncos.
