Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback turned sports analyst, podcast host and professional wrestling commentator Pat McAfee spares no chance to make puns referring to football while commenting on WWE matches, as was the case yesterday when he compared former WWE champion Drew McIntyre with Indianapolis Colts QB Carson Wentz.
During Friday Night SmackDown, Drew McIntyre, most times, threw Ricochet down to the ground and McAfee saw it as an opportunity to swoop in another football reference while commenting on it on Twitter.

Pat McAfee compares Drew McIntyre with Carson Wentz
“Drew McIntyre’s throwing Ricochet all around Indiana like Carson Wentz was throwing the ball last night ALL OVER the stupid Jets #SmackDown #SmackDAHN,” Pat McAfee, the former Colts QB tweeted.
McAfee referred to the Thursday night game wherein the Indianapolis Colts completely thrashed the New York Jets in a 45-30 victory. Had the Jets not pulled off the last quarter of the game with 14 points, the lead would have been enormous and even more humiliating.

McAfee, being an ex-Colts kicker, was more than just amused watching his former team destroy the Colts. Similarly, Drew McIntyre destroyed Ricochet on Friday Night SmackDown. The Colts QB Carson Wentz went into beast mode as he finished 22 passes of 30 attempts. He notched three touchdowns with no interceptions.
