The lead QB of the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers, has proved many a time that he thinks a little differently than others and is never afraid to voice his opinions. He is a skeptic; one who questions and is hungry for knowledge. The 38-year-old asked one such question to one of his former backup QB.  

DeShone Kizer played with the Packers in 2018 for a year and developed a great friendship with Rodgers. He spoke about their relationship on a podcast. And boy, did the elite QB had some questions for him!

“He shut the door, and the first thing that came out of Aaron Rodgers’ mouth was ‘Do you believe in 9/11?’ What, do I believe in 9/11? Yeah, why wouldn’t I? He was like ‘You should read up on that,’ and then we just start learning up about the playbook, and I was like, ‘Wow, I don’t know where this is going’. What it ended up being was a thought experiment where he wanted me to go back and look into some of the conspiracies around it,” said the former backup QB.

Over such questions, the two formed a bond. The two athletes then shared books and had intellectual conversations about various topics. It looked like Kirk genuinely enjoyed their discourses. But many fans said that it was weird of Rodgers to discuss such topics with a new teammate. However, Aaron Rodgers is not the only one discussing conspiracy theories.

Michael Vick, former QB of the Philadelphia Eagles, also joined Sharpe on the podcast. Vick was of the opinion that Rodgers’ age or ability isn’t causing any problems on the roster. But the absence of WR Davante Adams is hurting the team.

However, Sharpe disagreed with Vick. To Shannon Sharpe, it looked like Adams left the Packers because the 29-year-old WR was dubious of A-Rod’s position in the team. “He turned down more money from Green Bay to go to Vegas. But he did say he felt the uncertainty. You can’t keep saying you could retire this year… But look, when you’re a great player, sometimes you overestimate your ability and underestimate someone else.”

Well, new and interesting conspiracy theories about who is to be blamed for Green Bay’s performance are always welcomed.
