Dana White once caused a whirlwind in the NFL. Despite being the President of the UFC, he knows how to throw down some spice. Dana once had a pitch for the GOAT Tom Brady. He pitched Brady to come down to Las Vegas if he considers a move. Eventually, Robert Kraft noticed it. He had some harsh words for White.
In 2020, Tom Brady was trying his hands over free agency. Something he experienced for the first time in his illustrious career. The offseason that year very exciting. Everyone was speculating where Brady would head next. The QB had multiple options: Titans, Chargers, and the Buccaneers. What took place next is etched in golden words in the NFL’s legacy.

Dana White once publicly laid his request to Tom Brady. During an Instagram Live video, he calls up TB12 and pitches him to come down to the Las Vegas Raiders — but only until he doesn’t really sign a new deal with the Patriots. He tried hard to convince the GOAT to come to Vegas, the place he currently lives and works.

However, One member of the Patriots organization got upset with it. White revealed on ESPN‘s ‘Always Late with Katie Nolan’ that the franchise owner, Robert Kraft, called him up to speak with him.

Dana White mentions, “Listen, do you know who called me this morning? Rob Kraft… And I said, ‘Mr. Kraft, now, I said I want him to stay in Boston. But if Boston doesn’t work out, I want him to come in Vegas.’ And yeah, he was not happy with me. This thing is being blown out of proportion. I am being falsely accused here.”
Dana White gives out more context on the Tom Brady poaching attempt
Given that the president of the UFC is a Boston native and a Patriots fan, a remark like this brings questions among the New England Enthusiasts. Dana surely does not prefer Brady to leave the Patriots. However, if he’s not interested in Boston, White advocated the Las Vegas Raiders for the QB as a grand opportunity.

White then clarifies via NESN. Dana considers himself a Bostonian and wants Brady to compete for the Patriots. He wants him in Vegas if that doesn’t happen. White is not interested in California or any of the other teams. However, if the GOAT does not play in Boston or does not retire and finish his career there, he could show up in Vegas.

Even though Dana did not get his wish, his continued support for the seven-time Super Bowl winner. He still showcases his admiration for the athlete and the sport.
