He was no one’s first choice, but TB12 still managed to accomplish the unimaginable. Brady’s journey to success was not only shaped by the unwavering support of his parents but also by the presence of several other mentors that contributed to his growth.

In a recent interview, Brady fondly recalled the impact and guidance of his childhood coach, who unfortunately passed away 12 years ago. In a humble acknowledgment, TB12 revealed how the same coach had taught him how to throw a football.

Brady actively participated in several discussions, reflecting on his childhood experiences and sharing insights into his life, both on and off the field. TB12 didn’t fail to mention all the people that supported him through the challenging and triumphant moments of his journey. Then he mentioned his childhood coach, by adding, “His name was Tom Martinez, God rest his soul, he passed away about 12 years ago.

The 7x Super Bowl champ revealed that his mentor and childhood coach from a very small city college in San Mateo taught him how to throw a football. He further added that the same coach told Brady to contact him whenever he needed help, despite his multiple responsibilities for different teams around the city.

Brady also spoke about how he played football in his childhood. He revealed that his family didn’t own a backyard, so he had to play football with his friends on the street. TB12 further added that he and his friends had to navigate through the streets, improvising and adapting to create suitable grounds for their games.

The GOAT still has some football left in him

Although the 7x Super Bowl champ has confirmed his retirement from the league, he still managed to be associated with it. Brady recently purchased a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders to become a co-owner of the team. There are still some formalities to be filled, however, there are several reports that indicate a confirmation of the said deal. Therefore, the GOAT of football will stay in the league for a while now.

Even after his retirement, Brady continues to excel in various endeavors off the field. There are even several rumors that he might return to the NFL this season, due to the Raiders’ quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo‘s unfortunate injury. Some experts claim that TB12 is the perfect replacement if Garoppolo does not clear his physical till the season starts. There are a lot of moving grounds and we are yet to witness how this whole thing unfolds by the season’s start.
