Von Miller made an interesting statement in a YouTube video with Bleacher Report. The linebacker has been a great player and teammate for different people, including Peyton Manning. Manning and Miller played together when they were on the Denver Broncos.

The exciting point remains that while Miller claimed to be a huge Brady fan, he played up close with his greatest rival.

Von Miller on the two quarterbacks

In the YouTube video, Miller speaks about his connection to the two great quarterbacks he has witnessed. The linebacker speaks about Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Subsequently, he mentioned Brady being his personal hero, and he spoke about the quarterback’s greatness.

He spoke about how both quarterbacks have inspired him. While giving all due credit to Brady, Miller goes on to say, “NFL is better when Tom Brady wins.” This was indicative of the fact that the league’s atmosphere seems to be better when Brady is winning the Super Bowl.

This is particularly intriguing, as Miller was Manning’s biggest rival. While both quarterbacks have a lot of respect for each other, their rivalry is unparalleled in the NFL. The rivalry is regarded as the biggest, albeit the healthiest, rivalry in this league. For Manning’s old teammate to speak so highly about Brady, seems very fascinating.

While Miller might be singing praise for Brady, his respect for his former Broncos teammate also remains unparalleled. The linebacker speaks about his old teammate from the Denver Broncos. He spoke about Manning and his ability to be a leader on the field. The linebacker had a fondness in his voice when he spoke of his old teammate.

He even went on to say, “The way he took care of his teammates and the way he led, it has a huge impact on me and my career and how I lead today and how I interact with my teammates.”
