Sunday night’s game between the Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings is not one to forget. The incredible fourth-quarter comeback win by the Vikings against arguably the best team in the AFC was a sight to behold. And to top it all off, the game saw the making of a sensational moment, one destined for the history books. Vikings’ receiver Justin Jefferson made a wild one-handed catch that left everyone wide-eyed and open-jawed. And it seems, it will continue to do so, from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Jefferson’s gloves and sleeve from Sunday night are set to be put on display to commemorate the incredible feat he has just displayed.

Jefferson’s catch helped the Vikings maintain their comeback momentum against the heavyweights Bills team. In the 4th quarter, Vikings’ QB Kirk Cousins throws 32-yard pass from 4th and 18. Bills’ Cam Lewis initially catches the ball, but a leaping Jefferson has his right hand under the ball. As the duo crashes into the ground, Jefferson deftly snatches the ball from Lewis, completing the catch. “Just the way my body went up, him catching the ball in his hands and me taking it from him, the whole play was crazy,” Jefferson says about the catch.

Jefferson’s catch helped the Vikings drive the ball right till the Buffalo end zone, where the Bills promptly fumbled the ball and gave away a touchdown.

The Buffalo Bills were clearly the favorites as they headed into the game. And it seems lady luck wanted to favor them too. Sunday’s game saw officials make a couple of glaring errors, both in the Bills’ favor. The first one came about when Gabe Davis made a diving catch for a 20-yard pass by Josh Allen. While officials did not stop to reconfirm if the catch was complete, replays clearly show the ball touching the ground before settling in Davis’ arms.

The second stroke of luck happened in overtime when the Vikings were on the 2-yard line. Images from right before the snap confirm that the Bills had 12 players on the field, which the officials promptly missed. Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell aired his doubts about the incident.
