“It’s All About Winning in the End”: Jalen Hurts’ Take on Aaron Rodgers Ahead of Most Anticipated Week 12 Matchup Will Make the Faceoff Even Special

This week, the mighty Eagles have a blockbuster matchup on Sunday. Jalen Hurts would face Aaron Rodgers and Co. at the Lincoln Financial Field in hopes of improving their record against this NFC North team. Ahead of the game, Hurts admired the veteran and expressed excitement about playing against him for the second time.
A lot changed for Hurts when he met the Packers last time in 2020. It was a 30-16 loss for his side; however, he got a glimpse of playing against one of the greatest QBs in the league.

The Oklahoma product was playing in his rookie season, and that December game, two years ago, changed his entire life. He got elevated to the starting position by the end of the 2020 campaign. Previously, Hurts served as a backup to the former Super Bowl Champion Carson Wentz, but when the franchise sensed QB struggles, Hurts got injected into the Packers game at halftime.
This time when they meet each other, Rodgers needs to be extra cautious because things have dramatically changed for both of them. Meanwhile, Hurts looked fanboying the Packers signal-caller whom he followed growing up.
“When you look at the NFL right now, there are a ton of different quarterbacks that do it in their own way. There is no definite way to play the position. It’s all about winning in the end,” Hurts said.
“When you talk about a guy like Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, guys I watched when I was growing up as a kid, those are guys that have set a precedent for the position in many ways. They’re great for a reason,” he added.

At this moment, the head-to-head comparison doesn’t make any sense. Above all, Rodgers happens to be an accomplished player. But this season, Rodgers and Co failed to live up to the expectations. On the other hand, the Eagles are reigning the throne with just a single loss and nine wins.
