“Killed Us Today”: Joe Burrow Earns Tom Brady’s Respect As Buccaneers QB Takes Blame For Bengals Loss

The Cincinnati Bengals handed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers another loss. Tom Brady and his team were unable to lead the Bucs to their 7th win. There is no doubt that Joe Burrow, the young QB from LSU, was able to outplay the Bucs. It was almost too easy for the youngster as the Bengals handed the Bucs their second loss in a row. During the post-game press conference, Tampa-Tom spoke about Cool Joe, the way the team played, and their mistakes.

Tom Brady sings Burrow’s Praise

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback looked dejected during the post-game press conference. Amidst, one of the worst seasons he’s personally had, the quarterback has had to assume responsibility for the losses. The head that holds the crown is indeed heavy. However, Brady was humble enough to admit and praise how well his younger half from the Bengals played.

The Bucs quarterback mentioned the young QB, Joe Burrow, and how well he performed. The 45-year-old said, “Honestly, he’s good. He’s a really good quarterback,” and also spoke about the way he needed to play in order to win more games. At the start of the press conference, Brady spoke about what mistakes the Bucs made on the field and what they need to improve on for upcoming games.

The Bucs’ on-field Circus

While the Bucs are a great team on paper, the veteran quarterback leader of the Bucs admitted to the mistakes that brought on their loss. Brady mentioned some key aspects of the game that went wrong. He spoke about the botched punt attempt being the spark to the fire that was the downfall of the Bucs. Brady also said, “just our execution and again turnovers kill you it killed us today,” and spoke about the turnovers in the second half being the biggest reason.

All in all, Brady was very forthcoming about his mistakes. He took the responsibility for the mistakes he committed and spoke like a true leader of the team. However, with such few games left, Brady will need to buckle up for the Bucs to be in a good position. The question remains, that come playoffs, how is the team going to perform any differently?
