The scoreboard displayed 10-3 by the end of the final whistle, with Marcus scoring the only touchdown. Fans were left in utter disbelief watching the youngster lifting the Patriots single-handedly.

On the other hand, Wilson had one of the poor performances with 9 of 22 for 77 yards.

The Patriots’ defense was the only unit that looked happy because they were able to restrict the Jets throughout the game. “Complete domination. That’s kind of what we wanted to do,” defensive lineman Deatrich Wise Jr. said, “We wanted to stop the run and affect the pass. And I thought we did that,” he added. Regardless, the star of the night was Marcus Jones making it look effortless.

Meanwhile, some of the fans bashed the Jets for their carelessness.

The Patriots will next face the Vikings in the upcoming week and are currently placed third in the AFC East with six wins and four losses. It will be interesting to see if they are able to make it to the playoffs this season.
