Since the 2020 Draft pick could sign extensions after the regular season, the Vikings’ star WR would be in line for an extension from his rookie contract. But NFL Insider Matthew Coller claimed the receiver’s contract talks would have the Kirk Cousins influence.

“He’s going to ask, ‘Is it Kirk [Cousins] who is going to be here?… Is it going to be the quarterback who’s helped me get all these numbers? Are you taking a swing to win with somebody else on a rookie deal?’ That’s something he’s going to want to know,” Coller mentioned via Heavy.
