Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes can smile now. The new power partners in the NFL have a double delight after the latter gave birth to her second child, a baby boy. Notably, the famous duo took to social media to announce the baby’s arrival, much to the delight of the NFL universe.

The happy couple named the boy, Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III, as per a tweet by PM15. The baby was born on Monday, November 28, a day after the Chiefs registered a thumping win over the Rams.

As per the young superstar’s tweet, the baby weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. A day earlier, the NFL MVP favorite’s partner had maintained she was not in the labor room at a witty remark.

Before marriage, Patrick Mahomes and his partner knew each other for a long period. The NFL super couple began dating in their teen years. They got engaged in September 2020 and the proposal was a special one that occurred on a memorable Super Bowl night. Remarkably, PM15 posed the question to the former pro soccer player right after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony.

The duo welcomed their first child on February 20, 2021. Mahomes once admitted that fatherhood changed the trajectory of his promising career. In the future, will the NFL world get to see a champion dad and a teenage son playing together? Time will tell.

The Chiefs QB also detailed how his wife took care of their first daughter, Sterling. “Brittany’s been a champ, she’s been the best mom ever, so I’m just excited every single day for the new challenges and seeing (Sterling) grow,” Mahomes added with an affectionate smile. 

Earlier, NFL legend and Bucs top QB Tom Brady had expressed similar feelings about the happiness of becoming a father. The father of Benjamin, Vivian, and John said he enjoyed the role of a father and that of nurturing a family. Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes may second it. Because they say happiness is family bonding.
