Jerry Jones has proven himself to be a great General Manager for the Cowboys. He has assembled the Dallas Cowboys as a team that has been going off during this season with a record of 10-3. However, Jones does not seem content with the progress.
He is striving for a better lineup with a constant lookout for good fits for the Cowboys. With Odell Beckham Jr. in free agency, the Cowboys have been playing a dance with the receiver to obtain him. However, the Cowboys made a signing with Pro Bowler T Y Hilton so there were assumptions that the Cowboys might have given up the OBJ pursuit. However, Jones remains persistent as ever.

While Odell Beckham Jr. might still be up for grabs in free agency, Jerry Jones capitalized on the situation presented and snagged T Y Hilton. The Cowboys GM wasted no time in making moves for his team. This brought about suspicions of the OBJ trail running cold. However, this was absolutely not the case.

The owner’s intentions for bringing OBJ to Dallas apparently still remain the same. Via reliable sources, it was uncovered that the T Y Hilton move was for this season. However, taking into consideration the rehab time for OBJ’s injury, the Cowboys owner might have something more long-term plan for him.
At the moment I'm told, #Cowboys feel unsure of how long the tail-end of Odell Beckham Jr's current rehab will specifically take, thus the T.Y. Hilton move today. Was also just told-as of this tweet-Jerry Jones & Odell Beckham's camp are "still talking." Talks are "ongoing."

Odell Beckham Jr. and Dallas rumors
Odell Beckham Jr.’s trade rumors have gotten the NFL tracking the player’s every move. Even a small tweet with a chess piece seems to be getting huge traction. Amongst all of this, there has been an unparalleled amount of speculation as to the player’s destination. In the midst of so much speculation, there have been some interesting statements from Jerry Jones. After the Hilton signing, Jones was questioned about the status of acquiring OBJ. When it was mentioned that this prospect might be dying, Jones slyly said, “Not at all. Put a big exclamation on that. That’s all I got on that.” This indicates that there might be something coming in terms of the trade for OBJ.
While the NFL world hangs on to every move of the wide receiver, Jerry Jones seems to have something else in mind. The intriguing question, however, still remains: Where will OBJ be going and is Jerry Jones getting him to Dallas?
