Wilson continues to be one of the best players in the NFL, and his performances this season are genuinely garnering MVP considerations. Given the stellar numbers he’s having, the MVP conversations are completely justified.

In their last game against the Arizona Cardinals, Wilson was sublime. He completed 23 out of his 28 attempted passes, including 2 touchdowns thrown. He even averaged 4.2 yards per rushing attempt during the game.

Wilson looked unstoppable during the game, and throughout the season. But just as impressive off the field as he is on it. He is a mentor to many of his teammates on the Seahawks roster.

Wilson’s numbers this season are even better than the 2013 season in which he took the Seahawks to the Superbowl. Should he and the Seahawks continue their string of good performances, there is no reason why they cannot make it back to the Superbowl this year.

After the game against the Cardinals, Seahawks Wide Receiver DK Metcalf spoke on the NFL post-game show. On the relationship he shares with Wilson, Metcalf praised him for being such a positive figure in the locker room.

He said, “He always talks about me being great. And he’s already a Hall of Famer in my eyes. I’m pretty sure in everybody else’s as well. But just trying to pick his brain sometimes, of how he got to be so humble yet hungry at the same time.
