However, when the Chiefs No. 15 returned home from some leg work, Sterling Skye Mahomes was the most excited to see her two-time Super Bowl MVP father. Skye’s mother, Brittany, posted the father-daughter reunion photo on her Instagram story.

2-year-old Sterling was present with her mother at the State Farm Arena on February 12, when the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 to win their second Super Bowl in four years. Sterling even came onto the field to celebrate. However, she doesn’t quite gets what goes behind the trophy hunt yet.

A lot of time away from home. That’s what it takes for Patrick and his men to achieve success on the gridiron. Brittany Mahomes looked exhausted as Sterling and Patrick greeted each other with big hugs. And her fatigue may have had a lot to do with being the bridesmaid for her friend’s wedding. “Loved celebrating you all weekend, Mrs Patterson,” Brittany captioned another one of her stories with the bride.

However, Brittany didn’t let her exhaustion come in the way of family time. Patrick, Brittany, and Sterling made the family dinner trip. And the former professional soccer star posted a video where Patrick seemed fascinated by Sterling’s antics. “My dates tonight,” she captioned it.

The Mahomes seem to be enjoying their time and don’t look too concerned about Patrick’s younger brother Jackson and his pending assault charges. Jackson Mahomes will have to see this through on his own. In the meantime, until Patrick Mahomes goes back to off-season training, Sterling can take in as much ‘dada’ as she wants.
