The Buffalo Bills fixed their date with the Bengals in next week’s much-awaited AFC divisional round playoff clash. But, it came at the cost of the Dolphins, who crashed out following a 34-31 loss to Josh Allen and Co. However, it wasn’t just the Bills Mafia who were pumped up to celebrate. And even before the game started, some ESPN reporters decided to join in.

Dianna Russini and Jeff Darlington from the NFL on ESPN crew joined the Bills supporters as they welcomed the Dolphins for their AFC Super wildcard round playoff clash. And the fans gave the reporters no ground to stay neutral.

Buffalo fans hoisted both Dianna and Jeff on their shoulders. However, Diana didn’t see this coming based on her tweet before the madness ensued.

And the cheering carried on as Russini cried out, “I’m a mother” from the shoulder top of the lucky fan.

Being from the Bronx area, Russini’s Buffalo Bills fan moment was not surprising

The Miami Dolphins were without their first-choice quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, and struggled with other injury problems on their road to the playoffs. Backup QB Skylar Thompson’s efforts didn’t prove to be enough. Despite the shortcomings, the Dolphins put on quite a show. However, that didn’t stop the Bills from putting on a winning show at the Highmark Stadium on Sunday. Josh Allen threw for 3 TDs over 352 passing yards. The Buffalo defense took care of his 2 interceptions as they finished the close-fought AFC wildcard round affair.

However, fans thought that the New Jersey resident, Dianna and her co-host of the NFL Countdown and NFL Live team predicted this outcome and probably started their celebrations a bit too early.

Next week’s divisional round encounter will require even more support from the fans as last year’s Super Bowl runner-ups, the Cincinnati Bengals, come into town. Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals defense will certainly be a bigger challenge to Josh and Sean McDermott’s men than a wounded Dolphins side. And ESPN’s NFL crew will definitely be rooting for the men in blue.
