Kelce has praised his team for finding a way out of a slow start and thinks it will be a good boost for the Chiefs.

Travis Kelce got together with his brother and Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce, for their ‘New Heights’ podcast. When Jason asked Travis about their reaction to going 0-17 down, the younger Kelce heaped praise on the Chiefs team.
“17, nothing is a very uncomfortable position to be in. Obviously, we are still growing as a team, finding out how we mold as a team and keep growing together throughout the season, throughout the games,” Travis Kelce said.“Being put in adverse situations and finding a way to come out of it, have success, and win a football game, even if it is not pretty you know. That builds so much in terms of being in the locker room and just the confidence and the chemistry you have with the guys around you,” he added.
Kelce said he couldn’t be happier for the team and how they all handled the entire game. “We started slow and everything, but once we got the ball rolling, our offense, our defense played their tails off against a very good team,” the Chiefs tight end went on to say.

The heroics of Patrick Mahomes
The Chiefs looked down and out in the second quarter with nothing on the board. Then it was down to Kelce and Patrick Mahomes to dig the team out of the hole.
The Chiefs quarterback threw four touchdown passes and the seven-time Pro Bowl tight end scored the same number of touchdowns to ensure a Chiefs victory. The final score read 30-29 in the favor of the Chiefs.

With this victory, Kansas is 4-1 after 5 games and sits at the top of the AFC West division. Vegas, on the other hand, are 1-4 after game week 5 and have the wooden spoon in the division. The next game for the Chiefs is a home matchup with the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. The Raiders face the Houston Texans at home on October 24 as they take a breather in their bye week, this time around.
