The San Francisco 49ers recently took a blow as they suffered a surprising defeat. They were hosted by the Cleveland Browns, where they suffered their first defeat this season. The Browns won by 19-17. Now, the Niners are all set to compete against the Minnesota Vikings. Recently, they released their injury report as well. HC Kyle Shanahan also shared an update on the list.

Unfortunately, many important players were mentioned on the list, which might affect their game on Monday Night Football. The major update is that the 3 main Niners will stay out of the field. Only two changes were seen in the list from Thursday to Friday.

Christian McCaffrey, Trent Williams and Deebo Samuel not playing

The injury report of practice participation of the Niners was released on Friday. As the upcoming game is on Monday, all the events prior to that day get pushed back a day. That implies that the Friday report is like a Thursday report if we look at it normally. The team didn’t just lose their match to the Browns; they lost many impressive players to injuries during that match.

According to their latest injury report, Christian McCaffrey (oblique) wasn’t seen during practice for the second straight day. Even though he isn’t required to practice before playing during the final game, his presence is still questionable. Deebo Samuel suffered a shoulder injury due to which he couldn’t practice. Along with him was Trent Williams, who had also had an injured ankle, which didn’t make it possible for him to practice before the final game.

However, the team didn’t come with bad news alone; they also had good news. Their linebacker, Dre Greenlaw, returned on-field for limited participation. He missed a week due to his hamstring injury and will probably be in the Monday night match. The Vikings also released their report, though theirs had no significant changes.

Ezra Cleveland and Pat Jones listed in the report

The Vikings’ guard, Ezra Cleveland, wasn’t seen on the practice day for the second time in two days. The player had suffered a foot injury, so he wasn’t present.

Their cornerback Akayleb Evans (oblique), Pat Jones II (shoulder), and Jalen Nailor (hamstring) were mentioned under limited participation. Both the teams’ injury report is out now; the Vikings’ IR looks better than the Niners.
