The fans will cheer on the national team as they enter the 2023 world cup. In what could be a historic achievement from the USWNT, they head as the favorites to lift the trophy. The potential for greatness has caught the eyes of many across the country, including Tom Brady. Following the opening weekend, the NFL superstar took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message for his fellow stars.

The former Bucs man posted a story on IG to cheer on the USWNT and bring it home again. But his wishes brought forward an emotion many weren’t expecting from the man who had won it all.

The Legendary QB has broken records throughout his career with the Patriots and the Bucs. One record he couldn’t manage during his time as the best QB in the league was that of a 3-peat. He would come close to achieving it between 2017 and 2019 but would lose the title in a 2018 matchup against the Eagles. However, the USWNT are on the verge of outdoing the greatest QB in American History, if they win the world cup this summer.

On his IG story, Brady posted his wishes for the NT heading for the elusive 3rd World Cup in a row, and 5th overall. Brady said, “Alright guys, It all starts tonight. Team USA is gearing up to do something, I was never able to pull off, a three-peat. So, I just wanted to give a shout-out, to our squad as they go for their third straight World Cup. We’re all back here watching, cheering for you guys, so bring it home, alright? LFG.”

One could be forgiven to think that Brady is envious, or jealous of the national team. But his manner of speaking was cheery and supportive of the national team. The legend may not have been able to pull off the feat in his career, but he learned the valuable lessons those shortcomings taught.
