Most recently, the older Jones took to Instagram to wish his younger brother on his birthday. And some observant fans had a good laugh. Here’s what went down.

Jon Jones penned a heartfelt note, but fans are overly observant

Jon ‘Bones’ Jones is a force of nature in the mixed martial arts arena. It seems like athletic genetics run in the family. Continuing to uplift the Jones name in the NFL world, Chandler Jones is a maverick in the league. Taking to Instagram to commemorate his younger brother’s birthday, the older Jones penned a heartfelt message.

He said, “My little brother is one of the all-time best on the field, but the reason why I admire him so much is for the man that he is off the field. I love you so much @chanjones incredibly proud to be your big brother. Happy birthday young king.” While many took to the comments to wish Chandler Jones, one user made an observation regarding Bones’ picture of choice.

The fan said, “he got this pic off google i?m dying,” to which another sardonically responded, “Call 911.”

Some fans just found out the duo were related, “Raise your hand if you just found out chandler jones was bones little bro ?????,” “Had no clue that?s ?”
