Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens make one of the busiest couples in sports. With Owens tied up in training and a hectic NFL schedule, and Biles juggling her commitments with organizations like Friends of the Children, Make-A-Wish, Athleta partnerships, and her creative ventures, their schedules rarely line up. But now, after weeks of busy schedules, the couple has found some leisure hours for a date night. 

Biles took to her Instagram Stories and shared two pictures to showcase her date night with Owens. In the first story, she shared a picture of herself standing beside the Chicago Bears’ safety. She donned a black cropped top and matching jeans with silver accessories. And Owens posed for a picture in a neat white and black patterned Versace shirt with black trousers and black loafers. The caption read, “date night.” In the next story, Simone Biles shared a snap of their cocktail glasses and captioned it, “his & hers.” 

In past instances, those touchpoints have been just as thoughtful. Back in mid-2024, Owens treated the Olympian to flowers, burgers, and Louis Vuitton goodies before a round of Olympic qualifiers. Even with the weight of competition looming, they made space for some quality time. And in their appearances, like sitting courtside at games or walking the red carpet at events like the Met Gala, they try to turn public outings into miniature dates with coordinated outfits, and shared smiles amid the spotlight. But a dedicated date night is still a rare necessity. 

The last time when Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens spotted together for a date night was in April 2025. The couple went for an NBA game, and the 11-time Olympic medalist even shared a picture on her Instagram Story. Although the pair often juggle between time zones and packed calendars, they never forget to stand and cheer for each other.

Just about a week ago, the Biles flew to Las Vegas to support her husband as his team battled the Las Vegas Raiders and helped the Bears win by 25-24. Biles arrived in a custom white jersey that displayed ‘Chicago’ in bold black lettering across the front, and Owens’ number 36 stitched on the sleeves. On the back her jersey had ‘Owens 36’ in large black print. 

Back in 2023, when Owens was playing for the Packers, she shared a picture of them embracing each other on the field and wrote, “Long distance isn’t easy, but seeing you play your heart out is so worth it 💛 I’m so proud of you baby.” 

And Owens has remained exceptionally consistent in winning Biles’ heart over and over again. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, he made sure that he was present at the French capital to cheer for Biles. He was seen wearing a white t-shirt with ‘BILES’ printer on the front. He later posed with the gymnast’s gold medal in a proud gesture for his wife.

But when he wasn’t there physically, he made sure to cheer for her via social media and FaceTime. Back in October 2024, even though both of them were engaged in practice in their respective arenas, Owens FaceTimed Biles early in the day and later greeted her at the stadium with a supportive embrace, making the most of every minute. Perhaps, for the couple, long-distance is tough, but they always make sure to support each other even from afar.
