“Going up to pommel horse, last guy up in the whole competition, I had a good feeling that our team was in a great spot. I just knew I had to go up there and do my job.” Stephen Nedoroscik had one job at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and he did it magnificently. With his focus pinpointed on the pommel horse (along with Rubik’s cube and chess), he made sure to be known as That Pommel Horse Guy in the gymnastics community. His Day 3 performance in Paris helped clinch bronze for the U.S. men’s gymnastics team. And now, he’s up for another feat. This time, from a brand worth $93.8M.

With just one day left to the 2025 Xfinity Gymnastics U.S. National Championships in New Orleans, the Clark Kent of gymnastics impressed the world by becoming an ambassador for GK Elite. The apparel brand shared the big news through an Instagram post showing pictures of Nedoroscik on the stage.

And the caption read, “He took the world by storm in Paris last year… and now he’s officially a #TeamGK Ambassador! We’re so excited to be partnering with @stephen_nedoroscik to share in his journey within Elite men’s gymnastics and celebrate one of the world’s top male gymnasts and what truly makes him *extraordinary*.”

Team GK celebrated ‘The Pommel Horse Guy’s Olympic bronze, and raised the anticipation for the upcoming Xfinity Championships. After all, turning initial criticism into hearty applause isn’t something that just anyone can do. But Nedoroscik certainly has. And with that came a renewed sense of momentum. His comment on Team GK’s IG post, “So excited!!” was proof that his focus and style on the pommel horse can stir up the stage.

However, Stephen Nedoroscik wasn’t the only gymnast to have become an ambassador for Team GK. His teammate and fellow bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics was also in the lineup for the Team GK ambassadors.

Stephen Nedoroscik’s teammate is also a Team GK ambassador!

Yes, we’re talking about Brody Malone! Needless to say, he played a pivotal role in posting a final score of 257.793 and ending the 16-year Olympic medal drought for the U.S. men’s gymnastics team. And the most inspiring thing? Malone’s Paris return followed a gruesome knee injury he suffered at the 2023 DTB Pokal Team Challenge in Germany.

He ended up tearing his ACL, PCL, and MCL, and also got some damage to the meniscus. A career-threatening blow for any gymnast. Just over a year later, he returned to the world’s biggest stage with quiet determination. There, he delivered under pressure on a high bar, the very event where everything had unraveled. His comeback didn’t just raise the stakes. It set the standard. A year later, he became an ambassador of the official apparel sponsor of USA Gymnastics.

What’s your perspective on:

Can Stephen Nedoroscik and Brody Malone redefine American gymnastics on the world stage?

Have an interesting take?

GK Elite announced the news on Instagram with a picture of Malone at the Paris Olympics. The caption read, “As one of the most resilient gymnasts, we couldn’t be more excited to see him continuing his journey for the love of the sport and welcome him to our roster of ambassadors!” With brand success now off the list, all that’s left now is their performance at the 2025 Xfinity Championships.
