Four years away from competition is a long time, but “Super” Sage Northcutt has used that time to recover and add new tools within his arsenal ahead of his sophomore outing inside the ONE Circle. The American superstar returns against Pakistan’s Ahmed “Wolverine” Mujtaba at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video on Friday, May 5 – the organization’s first-ever event on American soil.

After suffering a devastating knockout loss in his promotional debut, the Team Alpha Male athlete is raring to go and show the world why there was plenty of hype surrounding his arrival at the Singapore-based promotion.

Sage Northcutt went through a gruesome healing process after his previous defeat

“I feel like I’ve improved in a lot of different areas. I’m looking forward to showing it,” the 26-year-old offered. But overcoming the manner of the defeat to Cosmo “Good Boy” Alexandre wasn’t an easy one.

Physically, he underwent a nine-hour surgery to fix multiple facial fractures from the match-winning knockout. From a mental perspective, he had to get his mindset battle-ready. Thankfully, he had his teammates at Team Alpha Male to assist him throughout the process.
