The pair figured in a back-and-forth contest that didn’t have a clear favorite as they both showcased their incredible skills and sound strategies against each other.

Tawanchai tried to maintain his distance to prevent his opponent from unleashing his vaunted high kicks. Meanwhile, Superbon showed that he can still utilize his elbows that he wasn’t able to use under kickboxing rules.

Tawanchai all set for his next challenge

Superbon once carried the featherweight gold in kickboxing as the top pound-for-pound striker in the world before Chingiz Allazov claimed his spot at ONE Fight Night 6 back in January.

Allazov successfully defended his belt at ONE Fight Night 13 this past August against a former conqueror in Marat Grigorian to cement his spot on top of the division. He will certainly be open to face a new rival to prove yet again why he is the best in the world today.

Tawanchai understands that “Chinga” will not be an easy opponent to deal with. While he respects Allazov, he intends to continue his winning ways when he goes for two-sport glory.

“Chingiz is a very good fighter. I feel like I’d be an underdog if I were to face him but if the opportunity comes and I have to face him, I would take it,” he said.
