But the Brazilian star has a lot to do to achieve that goal, especially given the fact that she is bringing a two-fight skid into her battle with #3-ranked atomweight contender Denice “The Menace” Zamboanga at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Mezabarba started her promotional tenure with a commanding win over former ONE World Title challenger Mei “V.V” Yamaguchi in 2021. But she dropped her next two matches, against Stamp Fairtex and Jennifer “The Graceful” Olsim, respectively, leaving her in need of a win.

As disappointing as those losses were, Mezabarba refuses to look at her upcoming battle as a do or die moment.

Speaking to ONE, the RD Champions athlete said:
“I don’t feel pressure ahead of my next fight. I don’t see myself like that because I know my potential.
“I don’t see myself with the rope around my neck because I’ve always given my best to the fans and the organization.”
