Nicklaus wrote: “Nice win Rory McIlroy at THE CJ CUP! Played really well, and it was great to see you back in the winner’s circle. Nice way to get the PGA Tour win No. 20!”
Moreover, Jack even said that he loved one of his quotes from the post-round interview where Rory talked about being himself. “Loved when you said that after trying to be someone you’re not, being me is enough, and I can do things like this. Good move.”
