Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most influential sports athletes in the world. He amassed 600 million followers on Instagram and created an extensive social media presence online. Ronaldo loves to post about his routines, Al Nassr club pictures, and family photographs. However, he received unexpected news from TikTok as they banned his account. Just hours after he joined the social media platform, the soccer star received a restriction due to unknown circumstances. 

Later on, he ditched a fan’s attempts to take a selfie because he used Snapchat, and apparently; he is not a fan of the platform. It became bewildering as someone shot the hilarious exchange and posted a video on X.

When he goes around Saudi Arabia, fans often flock to him to take selfies and snapshots. Ronaldo has found interacting with fans entertaining these days, as he loves to be in the company of the his followers. Yet, one fan approached him to take a selfie, but Ronaldo denied it. He used the Snapchat app to take the picture, as it displeased the legendary soccer player.

When the fan approached him to take a selfie when he was just to enter his car, Ronaldo replied, “No no, this is Snapchat.”

It seems like Ronaldo isn’t a fan of filters! They abruptly ended the video after the interaction, leaving the conclusion of the meetup shrouded in mystery.

The Portuguese superstar often takes selfies and posts them on social media platforms. But this shows Snapchat isn’t his cup of tea! The soccer icon recently joined TikTok in a bid to start a new social media following.

Despite gaining 6.5 million followers in an hour, the company banned him from using the app. It’s odd for the star to be banned from the social media platform, given his widespread fame. But Ronaldo showed his lighter side when he went to Iran.

During his visit to Iran to face Ohod in the Asian Champions League, the nation’s streets filled with fans to greet the superstar.

It came to a point where CR7 stepped out of the window to tell the fans to stop partying as he needed to rest. But he spotted a young chap amongst the fans and was later invited to take a selfie. Ronaldo met the kid, who couldn’t believe what happened.

They hugged while the Portuguese star shared his Al Nassr jersey. The kid also did Ronaldo’s trademark celebration, ‘Siuu’ showcasing a heartfelt moment.

 The lesson learned is to refrain from using a filter-centric app and instead opt for a conventional camera while capturing Ronaldo.
