But, the new owners plan to use the Al Nassr star’s exit as an example. Billionaire owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is going to do it to warn the other stars at the club.

It indicated that the Red Devils would not offer a weekly wage of over 200,000 pounds after the Ronaldo debacle. But, the club soon broke the rule. They signed Mason Mount on a weekly wage of 250,000 pounds. Now, after the takeover of INEOS led by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the club is planning to reintroduce the same rule.

The new offer is a significantly lower wage than his current contract. Hence, with his contract up in six months, the Red Devils could sell him for the right price. Al Nassr remains one of the interested clubs.
It could also change the future of Casemiro. Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping to reunite with him in Saudi Arabia. The midfielder is on a weekly wage of 350,000 pounds with the Red Devils.
