Recently, the club’s wunderkind, Louis Lloyd, opened up on the hard training that Phil Parkinson conducts.

While speaking in the latest episode of Rob.Ryan.Red podcast, he said, “Oh, it’s top-level, obviously, training is no joke. Got people like Elliot Lee can’t lose the ball and Mulls doesn’t miss the goal. It’s just unreal.” Lloyd heaped praise on the club’s stars, Lee and Mullin saying that each training sessions are quite hard.

“Like especially all the lads that were bought in and the lads that were still their levels just getting higher, higher and higher. So training with them would just make us young lads even better and sharp and everything.” He also highlighted the impact of training sessions on youngsters like him, who get to learn a lot.

He continued, “Honestly, it’s top level, it’s easily higher league level standard training and playing the matches, the performances, and where they are, simple as that.” Indeed, it seems Parkinson is quite serious when it comes to soccer drills. The players must be going through a lot as they are preparing for the empathic fixtures against Premier League giants.

The upcoming pre-season friendly will provide an exciting opportunity for them to compete against two Premier League clubs. Specifically, Phil Parkinson’s team will be facing Mauricio Pochettino’s side on July 19th. The match will take place at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

A week later, Reynolds’ team will go up against Erik Ten Hag’s squad. The highly anticipated fixture against the Red Devils is scheduled for July 25 at the Snapdragon Stadium.
